Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the primary function of the drying box?
The main function is the drying of the surface of the coils, which is generally used as the final step in the surface treatment process depending on customer requirements.
Q: What materials are used in the construction of the drying box?
The main body materials are made of 5 mm thick 304 stainless steel sheets. The exterior structure features a combination of carbon steel and steel sections welded together, covered with an 80mm insulation layer.
Q: How is the drying temperature controlled?
The system features automatic temperature control using a temperature sensor, steam-heated pneumatic angle seat valves, a steam-heated plate heat exchanger, and circulation fans with hot air as the heating medium.
Q: How is the workstation design structured inside the drying chamber?
It utilizes a 3-workstation design. The drying chamber is high-level, and its entrance is connected directly to the exit of the saponification tank tunnel via a tunnel lift partition door.
Q: How does the automated process move components through the drying box?
A manipulator/robot drives the trays or discs sequentially through three stations. The system automatically coordinates the opening and closing of the station covers, the tunnel partition door, and the exit lift door based on preset time intervals.
