Frequently Asked Questions
What is the primary function of the drying box?
The primary function of the drying box is the surface drying of metal coils and discs. It is typically utilized as the final step in the surface treatment process, depending on the customer's specific technical and process requirements.
What materials are used to construct the drying box body?
The main body of the drying chamber is constructed from 5 mm thick 304 stainless steel sheets. The outer support structure consists of a welded combination of carbon steel and steel sections, insulated with an 80mm post-insulation layer.
How is the heating and temperature controlled in the system?
The system utilizes hot air as the drying medium. It is heated via a steam-heated plate heat exchanger and a steam-heated pneumatic angle seat valve, with the temperature being managed automatically by integrated temperature sensors and automatic control systems.
How many workstations does the drying chamber feature?
The drying chamber is designed with a 3-workstation system. The robot or manipulator sequentially moves the disc trays through the first, second, and third stations, opening and closing the respective upper covers automatically at timed intervals.
How does the entry and exit system of the drying box operate?
The entrance of the high-level drying chamber is directly connected to the saponification tank tunnel via a tunnel lift partition door. The exit features a dedicated lift door that automatically lowers to open when the drying process is complete and rises to close once the manipulator moves the tray to the next station.
